When I’m being passive:

You have a choice just because someone has decided they like you doesn't mean you have to like them or allow them to control you. A passive person lets things happen to them and doesn't take charge of a situation, good or bad, and so is not in control of their life.

When I’m being passive:
-I overuse ‘Sorry’.
-I can be hesitant and nervous.
-I don’t say what I want.
-I find it hard to clearly express opinions, needs or wants.
-I can be hesitant and nervous.
-I expect ‘lost/win’ in disagreements.
-I go along with other people’s decisions
-I deny my rights and allow them to be violated.
-I don’t accept responsibility for what is happening to me.
-I often put myself down.
-I have difficulty making eye contact.
-I feel frustrated, powerless, unhappy, hurt and anxious.
