If you absolutely can’t bring your attention back to a task, try to use “Transition time” method, the fifteen minutes it take you to do some clerical job, after it will cause you like readjusted your mood back to focus your time and energy in one direction.
Give yourself a challenge
If a task is boring, turn the task into a challenge. Take 5-minute challenge: choose a similar dull or hated task, decide what would make the biggest difference and achievable in time. If you apply the same sort of thinking as you did for the 5 minutes challenge, be amazed at how much you can achieve in a short time.
Divide and Conquer
If you have huge project, you can break the big projects down, list the smaller tasks in priority order and tackle them at one time. By sequence to accomplish at the end of each small task will create more energy and confidence for you to move on the next one, remember to have mini celebration, rather than one for the whole proposal.
